Dwayne,

I looked for the deer! This is the feeling your pictures bring with the soft rendition of the plants in the left foreground and the bare trees twigs and trunks of trees on the right. We're looking down to the floor of the woods. Yes, we see the sudden change from the lush blossoming plant life and the older structures spaced out below a massive canopy we do not see. I like the picture. Tell us about your decisions on focus and the tight composition.

Thank you very much for the comments on this one Asher ! As for the tight comp not much
room in there. I am really happy with the new lens (Nikkor 18-200mmVR) it seems it will be able
to capture just about anything and the great thing is no more tripod. (featherlite travel)

Take care,

That's a very useful range to cover! Is it a push-pull focus like the 28-300mm Canon L lens or is it more civilized than that?

I got confused looking at the image. The left part with the white flower and the branches on the right side is a bit distracting. It's too cluttered for me I'm trying to think how to crop the image to make a good composition. Some good points, the lighting is Ok and the colors are just right for me.

much respect,
karlo
