Where's Charlotte?

Not sure if this is the right area to post this, so please move if needed.

While walking through the zoo, I came across this scene along the fence line. The colors are all as seen. I have an attraction to spider webs and this one just jumped out at me.
Nikon D50 shot early morning. comments welcomed

My reaction is "Impressive!"

You have a quick eye. So tell us what you think of your catch?

Is there anything that comes to mind or you just like the unusual nature of the white web and the blue wires and post?

BTW, why is the web white?

Good shot!

well here I am* of course this attracted me- but it's not all about me!
I simply adore spiders and most especially their webs- I have done a few-
a good trick to do is to spray the web with a fine mist and shoot them-the glisten of the water is awesome on them
this is such a cool shot!
goes to find another web-

Thanks for the comments all ----

Spider webs are fun to photograph and this one was no different. The first thing that I liked was the coloring of the fence. I was at the zoo early, with the intent of seeing some of the animals before it got too hot. While walking I started to see some smaller webs along this fence line. Once I saw this one, I stopped and started shooting. The morning sun is helping to make the web shine and show white. I wanted to blur out the background and enjoyed the bokeh that resulted. I also enjoyed the patterns within the web itself. One thing missing is a spider or the remains of a meal, something else to draw the eye to. But by itself I really enjoy how simplistic yet complex this web is. I did not have a spray bottle with me, but did think about it.

Regards,
Marshall
