Cedric,
I do love this because of so many mysteries. The girl on the left is beautiful, well photographed and in perfect health, at the prime of her feminine opportunity. One the right a real life women with burdens is wrapped in layers against the cold. She wears a headband that is close enough in color to link her, the real life women, with the superficially magical girl on the left.
In fact, one could conjecture that the girl on the right is the true life of many girls that seem to have dream life. Further the opposite is likely not true. Still we like to think that the lady on the right fantasizes about looking like the glamor girl on the left.
Certainly enough copies of Vogue magazine are sold by the average women to make one think that in fact, the average women might well have that fantasy.
I have not commented on the composition yet, that someone else might do.
