Wireless 580EX question

Is anyone using two (or more)580EX flashes in the wireless mode?

I'm gettting a weird effect in that the slave fires a half second after the master. I've switch master/slave between the units, put a 550EX into the mix with the same results. Any clue?

I neither have a 580 or flash problems but....

Please describe what you did wrong, and why (if applicable).

Soon somebody else will do the same, and come here looking for the answer.
