Oh How Beautiful- I still say your portrait work is my favorite
I would have loved to have seen that pillow on the right gone and upper left corner needs crop-
the white dress and sofa with the beauty of the dark haired child is very lovely without the pillow
you have the great instinct of a portrait artist!

Charlotte-

Hello Charlotte. Hope you and the family are keeping fine. Lovely to hear from you.

Extremely grateful for your generous comments. Most of the ' portraits ' I do are around the house
and invariably unposed. They might be doing something and there I am clicking away. Ayesha is fed up
with me!!

I am not good at cloning and the like. May I offer another one without the offending cushion!

Regards to you and yours. My thanks, once again.

Fahim,

I do like the pose, resting her head on her arm. She not yet worn out, a danger of famly photography, just relaxed and trusting. Sharp mage with a softness around her. Delightful!

The spouse and children of a photographer is always tested to the limit! What rational person would put up with collections of lenses to schlepp, capturing folk for pictures, spending endless time in front of the computer, being made to pose and more! My own wife was sorely tested as a schoolgirl spending hours keeping one pose as her father took pictures with his Deardoff 8"x10" LF film camera. The good side of those days was the long period that followed where he vanished into the sacred area of his darkroom, not emerging, it seemed for days on end! Even then, she vowed never to marry a photographer! Little did she imagine that would happen to her!

I'm sure Ayesha enjoys your work and the expression of your heart through this creative medium. I love your grandchild and she has a home if you would suddenly find her double! But then, how would I answer all her questions?

Asher, Thanks for the generous offer. You can always do what I do..' I don't know, but shall find out '. Which I do and get back to her. She is used to that.

The thing which stumps me is..' What animal did you see at the zoo, that we cannot see now' ?

Or Hamza who listened to his grandmother's mp3 songs ( Carpenters, Bob Dylan etc.. ) and asked her
if they were from the 90s. To which she hastily replied ' yes ' and walked away.

Best.
