It's a very nice place indeed. What's the temperature? Had to wear a mountain jacket?

Gorgeous is an understatement. Lovely place and people. We had thin jackets. It was hot in the valley. Mountains were very pleasant. Not cold at all. This was last month though.

Regards.

btw, I think this was ' greasing ' for the wheels as the sign says!

So, Fahim, tell us more about the Drizzle collection. How long have you been using it? Where do you find it most useful?

on and off for sometime. usually where some texture/grain/grit is obvious. Or where one would want to create such an impression.

This is from one of my posts in the ' A tale of two cities ' thread.

BW conversion with either Nik or Alienskin ( usually tri-x at 400 ); some diffusion and contrast in selected
areas. I have seen a sepia rendering of my image in another forum, which is beautiful.

John, Sandrine...I am sorry if I inadvertently caused some confusion.

The ' Drizzle Collection ' is not any plug-in that I know of. I just titled this post as such following a previous post ( yellow umbrella in the drizzle ). Why? I do not have a clue. Just came to mind I guess. Barrels collecting grape drizzle and the cart in the shop!! Lame, I know.

Just a simple bw conversion procedure, I generally use SilverEfex Pro or Exposure 3 for the conversions and use the tri-x 400 settings. One could use a number of other methods is one chooses.

Once converted I then just apply some glow to selected areas, again I use the CS3 filters. jazz it up a bit with grain, if need be.

If you have Silver Efex, give the ' wet rocks ' a try to selected areas! Can be very stunning.

Sorry, but nothing special in the processing.

Thanks for the interest folks.

p.s I did blend a bit of murky green via a layer in 'soft light ' mode. ' vivid ' was too strong!

Hi Fahim,
No apologies necessary.
My question stemmed from Asher's post - it seemed to me to imply a software process or name.
Anyway...I just received Silver Efex Pro as a birthday present yesterday!!
I'm anxious to give it go!
