In Perspective, Fun: Berlin Holocaust Memorial

Asher Kelman

Hi all. This is a shot I did a month ago while I was in Berlin for the weekend. Berlin is a very cool but very strange city. It's hard to describe but I like it. It's very fun but you can feel the dark history I guess. Let me know what you think.

Yes, that memorial is somber. Are there other views? It would be nice to get a feel for the total make up of the memorial. could you describe it?

According to The Washington Post, the memorial, just 5 years old, has started to show cracks. They are found in most of the 2711 blocks, apparently due to cold weather over the last 2 years. This is a most popular place for for visitors. 8 million have paid their respects since it opened!

The news is of December 7th 20910. They plan to use some sort of resin for the repair. So far they tested it out on 50 of the slabs of concrete.
