The bokeh on the lights is really nice, but somehow they seem just a bit much to me.

Thanks for the replies.

This is one of the first try's with christmas lights in the background. I agree that they are a bit much, but why and how would make them not stand out as much? More distance between subject and background? I think it because of how close I was to the subject? I like how it seems as though he is looking at the last light at the right and they spread equally to the top of his head and to his chin.

I have quite a few more I've tried as well. I need to upgrade to flickr pro for unlimited downloads, although it forces me to only upload my favorites.

Also I finally bought a SB600 and am looking forward to trying some more with OCF.
