Hi folks,

I have been staring too much into the dark pictures I took in the deserted village Doel for the past few days and I definitely needed something joyful to cheer me up. This picture did the job. It was taken during the carnival last year. It will soon be that time of the year again, I can't wait.

Speaking of joyful things, tomorrow I will visit the Boat exhibition in Dusseldorf and meet with my friends Nicolas and Romain. Can't wait to see them again. Talk to you again on Tuesday.

Sometimes we just can't seem to be able to share our joy. Or perhaps we do but we simply don't know it. Pity, really. To those 40+ who have looked here, I hope you have had some joy.:)

Awww... don't despair. After 3665 posts you darn well ought to know you can't please everyone all the time!
I'm figuring you're still hitting in the 95 percentile, so who cares if this image didn't "do it" for others?
It made you happy, and that's all that counts.
