Bart, thanks for linking to this. One never does get used to these. Just be better prepared.

As to what we do...In the olden days we would check our tents. secure our dates. Get our family
our camels and goats inside the tent and hunker down.

Nowadays, we secure our dates, get our family, our camels and goats inside the tent and hunker down. Additionally, I pack my cameras real tight.

As you said, priorities.

p.s I miss the olden days. Much simpler times.

I'd have thought one would wrap a cloth around one's face to filter out the dust! Can't be to good for the lungs, LOL! Surprisingly, folk just take pictures. No great concern, just thousands of tons of powdered rocks coming your way! I'd really be sorry for a camel with asthma or COPD!

Asher, yes camels with respiratory problems are a cause for concern!!

Wrapping cloth around our faces...Hollywood has us doing it 24x7!!
