Fahim,

This shows a massive scaling from front to even the middle ground as 2-3 story houses become the size of pebbles. The air here must be crisp and clean. I guess there are folk who ride around on bikes, motorbikes and even horse and cart, tourists, especially. I don't see any ski slopes, but doubtless they are nearby.

The white wall, (on the right of the partially-seen building), in the left foreground, might be looked at for the effect of bringing down attention to it, by making it not so bright. Otherwise, that structure is a perfect reference to the scale and depth we're enjoying. This is a personal judgement call. I look at this element as important but it's rank could be lessened with increased harmony to the presentation. With that wall so bright, one lingers there too long. Instead, it best serves as a gentle stepping of place from which to explore the fantastic valley and mountains.

Yes, you do. There is the top of a ski lift visible at the bottom of the picture, one third from the right.

I am not really sure what to think about this picture. It is different to what you usually post. I find the high contrast and high level of sharpening somewhat unsettling.

Asher, Jerome..Thanks for your comments.

Asher, I agree. That bright white was too much of a distraction. I did a quick darken, posted it, and went to sleep.

Jerome, I am unable to help you with that sir.

Regards.

Hello Friends, basic etiquette calls for gentlemen photographers to provide information on the camera, lens, aperture, speed, ISO etc along with the photo.
This can be a great learning experience for other folks.

Hi Bipin,

Welcome to OPF again and you make a good point. However, is it etiquette or just a nice thing to so? We discuss that, here.
