Dwayne,

As usual, your scenes are tranquil and calming. The greens of the trees in the background and the moss wrapping the cusps of the rock can work magic together. However, don't we miss out on the form of this idyllic spot by having almost no clues to dimension? The picture seems flat. It could be that your workflow that succeeds so well in more open pastures, isn't optimized for flatter lighting found here. I really would suggest revisiting the build of the image from raw, at the very least to make the rock dimensional and also if you can the trees.

Of course you might wish to see clues to dimension disempowered and have a more pastel image powered more by color zones and vague impressions. If that's your intent here, then, of course, my comments are out of place.

Thanks for sharing.

I had the curiosity to click on the link to your web site. I should say that you have great forest landscapes there, and I would like to understand why you chose to present us this particular one.

Dwayne,

Could you, perhaps, post a version that shows the rock sharper with some dimension. I really would love to see how this would look rendered thus.
