I found out that Romney was going to be about 10 minutes from me at a local Fire Dept late Friday p.m. and took my 70- 200 f4 L IS.
I took these at ISO 800 and thought they were pretty good and got a good angle with American flag backdrop . Almost did not get in due to fire code but when I noticed a person leaving got the guys attention and pointed to my white lens and he smiled and said go on in :D

This is a sound person.

What's amazing is that the biggest real criticism of Romney for the Conservatives is that they think his religion is a weird man made "sect"!

When one travels, does one ask the pilot for his religious credentials?

OTOH, to accept Gingrich, one has to rely on "forgiveness" and repentance" to qualify him. But at least they realize that their chosen pilot's dalliances have no bearing on his ability to take off, fly to a destination and land safely!

I'd trust him, notwithstanding he has only one wife, LOL!

Still, I think that all candidates ought to

  • have to undergo intelligence testing, (realize that Fox News is just for entertainment and seeing the long legs of pretty young woman anchors)

  • know the capitals of at least 6 countries in each of Europe, Asia and South America and the salaries of bankers v. workers

  • understand the meaning of probability, evolution of man, the concept of a biosphere, the carbon cycle, global warming and the consequences of sending all manufacturing abroad and then borrowing to consume the imported goods!
I'd feel more comfortable then.

I think that the final offering is the best of the bunch. It portrays someone who is prepared to do a little thinking rather than simply smiling in the hope of gaining the public's support. It probably comes down to the fact that I prefer my politicians thinking as opposed to grinning.
