Tony,

Good job, but why?

This is an amazingly attention getting image. The banana has been used in illustrations and in gestures as a symbol with obvious meaning. cutting like this is painful but what's seen it that it maintains it's position in spite of dismemberment. Is this what you intended. Or, it just the technical feat of suspending the banana slices as if floating in the air that enticed you to do this?

I'm interested in what you intent is, the mechanical or the philosophical?

So, Tony, how on earth did you do this. It's quite a feat! I'm impressed!

take two pics one as background, second pic of banana cut into pieces put pieces on the skewer hold in front of camera in same focus length as first pic put both pics on cs5 over lay pic with banana onto background pic put mask on the layer with the banana then brush skewer away then do normal adjustments
