Just starting to explore the world of architectural shooting...I was struck by how this entryway resembled the entrances found around the pyramids in Eqypt.
Chris, Narrow stone passageways are a hallmark of many defensive fortifications though out history. Likely, this sense is evoked just by glancing at your picture. Richard Serra, then one has behind one's mind a fabric of ideas which really easily support the idea that this is an entrance to a very great and humbling experience.
