This image caught my eye when I opened the post. There is a feel and tonality to the image that reminds me a bit of a color graded cinematic clip. Mismatched WB/cross-processed/underdeveloped? Sometimes the strength or lack of, of the content - is not as important. It's just kind of appealing for whatever reason.

Thank you Mark and Robert! I'm glad you saw what my intentions with this picture were. I wanted to make the tones cold, whilst the girl adds some human warmth into the scene. I'm quite happy with how this came out.

Your comments are highly appreciated, as always.

I love the colors in this- Again I feel a" haunting" with your work/style of what I have seen so far!
This could be a film clip from some kind of thriller movie
it has action though we see none- it has an errie quality of emotion- I truly love this- Has this always been your style? Very Cool-

Thank you so much dear Charlotte, much obliged! I guess this is the style I would like to pursue. Most of my photography right now moves around documenting my kids grow. But like, I suppose, everyone with a heart for photography I also like to express... hmm, something. There is usually a deeper emotional context to my "more serious" picture (please, don't take that literally!). I'm not always sure what such a context is but maybe I'm trying to find a special emotion or set of emotions through photography.
