Those shoes look somewhat daring for a boat trip :). You have a talent for taking the kind of photos that have made Leica famous. Shame that most toting the Leica couldn't begin to manage to achieve that accolade.

Thank you for the extremely generous comment.

I am certain, we shall continue to see even better samples of your work Ben, in the future. On your excellent blogs and the forums.

May the best follow you everywhere.

The previous night I decide what I would photograph the following day. Based on that, I decide on one lens.

One lens and one camera. I take a few test shots, based on something grey, just to check exposure for that day's weather. I zone focus. And that's it. Unless drastic change is called for, I touch nothing else.
It is just point and shoot. What to point and shoot at, and how, takes me the most time.

I do not have the luxury of changing lenses. I just have one lens.

Most of us, me mostly, post images that seem to be good and well executed. But that is not always the case.

With me, more images are not posted because I do not think they are good enough. This is where chimping would have come in handy. I generally, maybe wrongly, do not chimp that much, if at all.

Here is an example of where I screwed up big time. I do not have another shot to post either of this capture.

Everything went wrong here. The only saving grace, if there is one, is the content.
Lesson for me, make sure why it went wrong.
But always, get the content right.
