A few months ago, we were lucky to get some access to a very large ranch on the Rocky Mountain Front. Many nice trophy animals on the property.

Spent the past few months trying to get a close shot of this guy. Had a few different interactions, but he always kept us at a distance.

Finally, one evening a several weeks back - we were fortunate enough to spend about a half hour with him as the sun set. Beautiful animal..

Perhaps the most beautiful of all the nature images you've shown and one of the best lit I've seen anywhere! This is one of those rare photographs that you'll cherish for years to come. And why? Lighting! I love it.
