Burdekin Ducks

Asher Kelman

OPF Owner/Editor-in-Chief
Christine found these in the driveway of our house as she left for work.
She asked me to look up a recipe for them. I thought she wanted me to cook them. She just wanted to know what they ate.

Tom,

Earlier today I was puzzling how to compose pictures of folk cross the road. It's something that bothered me, but I did manage to get a start on the project. Here you seem to have hit on a similar challenge. The subjects don't necessarily get into the right positions or keep within the frame. But this picture is a success. It has some good basic simplicity going for it with bold swathes of color in the background then over this, a haphazard parade of B&W ducks. You clinched it!

All I wanted was a picture of the ducks. I wasn't really trying to clinch anything.
