The Abstracted Gallery

My friend opened an Art Gallery called "The Abstracted Gallery" in Minneapolis Minnesota. He welcomed me to photograph at a few shows. It has really shown me the weak points in my equipment. I had fun overall and may shoot at a few more.

Jake,

photgraphing exhibitions is less my thing although I am also guilty of it - my interests are more street art and sculptures, but there is one in your series that sticks out:
This is an interesting juxtaposition between the exhibited art and the Spider Man Title page somebody stuck on the back (a prank?). A street shot in a gallery :) Love it.

Best regards,
Michael

Wow, somehow I missed your comment. I am very sorry. Thanks for the kind words.

Mixing "street" photography and art shows is kinda what I have been trying to do.

Jake,

Your shots of the art allows us to visit too, without either paying cash or waiting in line.

Almost like being there as the folks you've caught watching and looking around, gives us a presence and it's much more engaging than even perfect images of the art itself!
