The Hunt

This is a sequence of an Osprey taking a shot at a fish in a lake nearby my house. He was unfortunately not successful in his venture but it shows how intensely they set up for the hunt.

Chris,

A wonderful series with great dimensionality in the birds build. We experience the bird as a live creature, fully fleshed put with real muscles and feathers in this series. Such a sequence gives so much more intensity of the presence of the raptor in its continuous quest for food.

Great job and thanks you for sharing!

Chris, I agree with Asher, fantastic display of the bird's perfect form as a predator.

I've been watching a series about Da Vinci, his bird in flight studies were (of course) amazing. He would be proud!

Fabulous captures! I love raptors and was delighted when once an osprey dived into the water about 2 feet in front of my canoe and came up with a fish. It was quite a sight to see!
