By now I know when an image doesn't appeal to the OPF public due to a lack of reactions.

Sometimes, I have enough time for a quick look at OPF, but not enough time to answer.

Quite frankly, the first time I saw your picture, I did not know what to make of it. It was not immediately clear that the text and flowers were drawn on the wall. For a moment, I thought it was a composite, maybe real bicycles, a projected shade in flower form on a wall and text added in post.

Pictures are a form of speech. No way around that! It just is a visual language that has to be read.

Tom,

I carefully composed the above statement, based on the usage and meanings of each word. Yes there's enough room to serve you "communication" and such. However, but the words I selected, are intended to be a complete statement.

'Careful' doesn't necessarily imply correctness, sense, or universal acceptance, Ash, old mate.
No doubt it's a complete statement but that doesn't exclude the possibility it is complete rubbish on your part or complete disagreement on my part.

I restructured the sentence and altered its emphasis so that the less astute might gain more from its content.
We don't all live in Beverley Hills, you know.

Hi Tom,

Although your restructuring may have improved the comprehensibility of Asher's statement for some, it is nevertheless analogous to restructuring others' photos. It is not a good practice imo. ;)

Sometimes le crayon rouge needs to remain endormi.

Bless you brother, for you have seen the light.

I can always rely on you, Cem, to grasp the satire and irony of what I say.

Unfortunately, it still doesn't get a laugh. It must be my timing.

Although, a famous comedian once commented on a lack of response for his humour.

"The jokes are fine. I just need a more astute audience"

Then there are the humorists who explain their satire as part of the routine.
