Possibly there could be one with more shadows but the birds position was more important to me. I don't know because generally these birds fly off. I was happy to get so close!

This is a natural habitat Asher but people like too hang out their too. Burnaby lake in Burnaby BC.

I took the liberty of cropping your picture and over-brightening a tad just to explore this striking bird, better, up close!

This brings out the gradients in the plumage. You do have robust files! I like this shot, even though bright!
