New Fisheye Lens

For those of us out there that like to shake it up at times there is always the fisheye lens. I was reading a review on the new Sigma lenses and they sound awesome. The 4.5mm f/2.8 EX DC Circular Fisheye HSM is the first 180 degree fish eye and is ideal for close-ups. If you have been saving your pennies this might be something you would want to consider. I believe you need to specify that it's the "first 180 degree fish eye designed for APS-C sensor camers..."

There have been 180 degree fish eye lenses since they were first introduced as meteorology tools.

The lens looks great, but a bit beyond my budget for "shaking it up" ;-)

And don't forget Nikon's amazing, priceless 210-degree circular fisheye (6mm f/2.8) for 35mm cameras! I wish I could see one in real life.

But I think it's great that Sigma is introducing this variety in the lens lineup for crop-sensor cameras. I wish Canon would make a circular fisheye to compliment their (admittedly very very good) 15mm full-frame fisheye.
