Contemplation

I don't know how much longer my daughter will continue to be my best (and only) model, so I want to shoot as much of her as I can.

That being said, I certainly don't want to wear out my welcome, but felt this photo was worth posting.

Her arm position is not something I'm crazy about, but I don't know enough about posing to tell her what might look better.

There's a challenge! The contemplation part works I think to a considerable extent. However, not there yet! I'd step back a little and let her pick comfortable position. I think here that the pose seems a touch awkward. I'd just go ahead and work on this and let her find a more comfortable position. Shoot wider. You can always crop. The main thing is she has to be at ease.
