Sun and Concrete

today it was 44.5C....the work continues on the renovation. A concrete and marble staircase refused
to be dislodged.

Compressor based drillers were brought in for Osman to work.

Fahim,

This set is so colorful and beautiful. The first, looking up from the work shows courtesy and pride. That drill is really a hard thing to hold and tough on the body. Guys tend to lens on them and that really can shake up the kidneys. It amazes me that they are pretty safe.

The second picture shows cloth wrapped around the lower part. Is that for dampening the sound or keeping the dust down? This would also go well in the skilled workmen thread.

Asher, thanks for looking. the cloth is slightly dampened to keep the dust down and the temp at
point of penetration manageable. It also protects against flying debris.

It is a tough life Asher, but that's when the real mettle and character comes to the fore.

I was reserving surgical and er for the skilled workman's file. not that this too does not call for
the highest levels of skills and endurance in the sun!
