I hate to admit I remember when Tech Pan was released. But I still say there is nothing that can beat a good Cibachrome print. There used to be some real artists that would retouch negatives back then, I really don't know how they could do it. Thank goodness for Photoshop.

Well, my most recent was on a trip to a game preserve. The Lions are magnificent. Truly beautiful and very intelligent. Here are a couple of images.

Lions and Tigers and Bears...

Thank you for sharing...I am guessing you were in Africa...as most of my friends travel and have extensively toured there or are about to (a travel group I have travelled with is going in September to So Africa and several parks...Sabi Sands and Madwike Hills) , I am familiar with most of the game preserves...where were you .?...love these captures.

So where where these magnificent creatures? The lionesses look like a fearsome hunting trio. I wonder whether a fourth stays behind to watch the cubs or maybe the male?

They were at a game preserve in South Africa called Mala Mala. Beautiful place if you get the chance, I highly recommend it. The lionesses are very protective of the cubs, they always leave a 'babysitter' so to speak with them, which is another lioness. They don't like the males around them until they are a bit older as the males are not is the best of moods it seems, they must walk around patrolling their territory and roaring to let others know that they should stay away. They are very social with one another however and seem to have a language all their own. Absolutely amazing.
