Hello peeps, name's Chee and I'm from this little country Brunei with barely half a mill population. It's on Borneo Island and not too far off from Singapore and Malaysia. Found this forum when I was searching for tips on posing for glamour shoot ...I have to say I'm rubbish at it and I saw some of Frank Doorhof's impressive work...walaaa here I am. By daytime I'm an educational psychologist and when I don't play one, I pretend to be a photographer heh

I like street photography, anything to do with stage/concert/unpredictable lighting and currently portrait/fashion (tho not very good yet). I'm looking forward to be part of OPF and continue on my lesson in photography.

Here are some of my recent fav pics,

Hi Chyee!

I like your pictures! welcome to OPF. We like to focus on people's pictures according to one idea. So 1-4 pics but related so we can discuss and give feedback. Do a search under challenge and you will see lots of areas we have for adding your pictures or else start a new thread. If it's in the wrong place, we'll move it for you!

The big thing is to introduce your work, if it's a hawk and a nest, how did you get the picture, dancers in Borneo in a village, tell us the story too. Lens details and film if relevant.

Always start your visit looking for orphan pictures for posts. There's someone waiting for the comment and feedback. That's how we work.

Any questions form film, lighting printing or tax issues are fine. Anything needed to go from idea to the delivered image and your success.

If you do good work and move up to excellent, we'll get a thrill!

Thanks Asher, believe it or not, I'm still going thru old posts and trying to get my bearing lol. Here's a newbie question from me, do I post my pictures for discussion at 'Entry Digital Photography' or specific forum under Photography Discussions? I'll repost these pictures again with the specific details

Chee,

Just entry level questions in the entry level forum. Otherwise just make the best guess. Most times it's correct. You may find a post of yours used to start a new thread! Other times several threads might be joined. So we do a bit of thread surgery and moving around to try to keep threads coherent and not duplicated.

If a thread goes excessively off topic and the new topic has traction, we split the thread.

So just jump in and introduce your image so we know the framework in which to give feedback. If it's for social fun alone, it Layback Café is the best place. I

Asher
