Hi all
Been lurking for while, thought I should post as I got a reminder from Asher ;)

Been playing at photography since the 80's, however the last 18 months have really turned a on off hobby into a passion (an expensive passion at that). I mainly shoot Nature and Wildlife, mostly birds from around my local reserves.
I use a Canon 1d Mk3 and yes I had all the issues that all early adopters had and am on my 3rd body which is a dream to use :)
I have spent way to much on my passion and just need to learn to use it all now ;)

Glad you finally came aboard! With the fine 1DsIII and 28 years of pent-up creative steam we should have some power behind your photography. Do you have a gallery yet? Always a good idea. Let us know how we can help you in getting pictures online.

The idea is to share experience. It could be on scanning film you have collected in envelopes and shoe boxes that are under a pile of books. These will have among them treasures. We're interested in how you chose lenses, if you did any comparative tests or even how your 1Ds evolved in the three versions. Most of all we'd love you to show your best images and introduce them 1-4 related to a single theme. It's not necessary to show lots of pictures. Just something that you think is great or maybe to solve a problem in the retouch forum. Totally what your needs and wishes are.
