imaging a manuscript

As a demonstration project the folowing A5 sized manuscript was digitised with a sinar 44 on a p2 with sinarcam2 under tight conservation (and space/access) controls. Lighting was an overhead high frequency fluorescent with some led bars to help pick out the gold, the images were multishot 0.5 second exposures and the pages were lightly restrained with flat fingers of perspex tilted to be transparent and touched out afterwards. A colleague - Craig - did the programming in flash and it was distributed on a cd.

The resolution of the individual images was needed to be set higher for more academic study

The CD was accompanied with a printed booklet.

My apologies for not making it clear what I wanted to show. It is a pc based composition of a set of images within a viewing utility.
They are dynamic and only work on pc- it was a demo on a cd

Hi Edwin,

We Mac users have almost a "3-strike" of heart attack, hemolysis and hemorrhoids just seeing

.exe !!!!

It usually means some virus. Since we also are starting run windoze programs in PC emulation, we are sensitized. This .exe is too off-putting to get by surprise.

So can you convert this to quicktime?

Asher

I use a Windows computer but I refuse to open EXEs from any source except known and trusted software distributions.

What assurances do I have that your EXE isn't infected with something, without your knowledge.

Sorry,

Thank you all for your comments,
taken to heart,
I hope, Edwin, that our problems with .exe files, may not dampen your generosity in sharing your work. It sounds so very interesting and we'd love to see it. If you have difficulty in changing the format, let us know!
