4 horizontal images stitched 15,000 (yes 15 thousand) pixels by 4723 do the maths!
70,5 million pixels image without enlargement (in fact this includes 10% downscale)!
Schneider Super-Angulon PQ 3.5/40 mm - eMotion 75 - ƒ16 - ISO 100 - 5 sec. mirror locked
Processed with Capture One 4 then assembled with Autopano.

It's so thrilling to see these pictures, not just for the fact of them being impressive, which of course they are! The idea that you often watch the boats from the time of planning with people making sketches to it's fabrication in the shipyard fitting out means this is something far more than another photoshoot for you.

So when you show such pictures, I feel we are seeing, in a way, part of your life.

But that's just my POV.

Your POV is not far from the reality!
In addition to be seing the "end" result of work made by many many workers (up to 80,000 hours…), I do work (when shooting launched/delivered yachts) in between two precious and highly emotionally charged moments…

Between industrial environments to the moment when the boat gets alived and sail the waves…

Sometimes it's even more emotionnal to me when I have photographicaly followed the work in progress during 2 and sometimes 3 years…

And yes, I can tell you that these big toys do whisper… It's only a question of listening… and this helps to get their best portrait.

The 2 panos, both in QTVR and Java shown on the original post were shot with a Canon 1DS3 and Sigma 8mm f4 EX Circular Fisheye mounted on a RRS balhead:
4 shots in the 4 cardinal points direction (raw files bracketed -1/0/+1 stop)
+ 1 shot toward ceilling (handheld)
+ 1 shot toward floor (handheld)

Assembled in APP.
