Storm's a coming!

I would appreciate any advice you folks would offer me to make this pic more dramatic.
I was alone on the island of Skye. Rain/Thunder was approaching. I was alone and the sea and the
mountains looked ominous.

I have not captured that feeling. What have I done wrong?
I tried b/w, but was not satisfied.

Your guidance shall be gratefully acknowledged.

Take care.

P.S. Zenfolio seems to lighten the image and de-saturate it somewhat.

me personally,
for me, a "storm" to worry about would be dark and ominous. the sky in the upper right corner is extremely bright or blown out. maybe it's just were i'm coming from, i see a sprinkle or two. i would go back and try to make the purples and greys a little darker. but, that's just an opinion. storms may be different in other places.
other than that, i like it ( i like it regardless ... you know what i mean.)

Hi Fahim,
I agree with James, the sky needs to be darkened/toned down a bit.
Also, I think the interest is in the upper 1/3 of the image. When I fist opened it my monitor only displayed the upper half. I liked what I saw. After scrolling down I felt the lower portion too distracting.
Here's a quick crop of what I mean:

James, thanks for looking in. I agree with you, the pic is not really storm like. Maybe I should have moved north and looked sw. Storms are storms. They have to be ominous and dark, which this pic is not.

Regards.

John, your crop is much more appealing to me. Got to get myself into a storm!

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Fahim,

I have done my best and have taken a go at your picture in photoshop to see if I could bring that storm feeling back into it. Unfortunately, I have failed. I'm afraid you'll have to chalk this one up to experience and take more and better storm pictures the next time you encounter one. As to the reasons why this one does not work, here is my rough guess. Certain elements of a storm which we expect to see in a picture are missing or are not good enough:
- the wind (no bent trees or things flying around)
- the showers (no veil of water coming down on the sea or any lightning bolts).
- the dramatic light (it is not bad but it could be much better)
- the crushing waves on the shore (the sea is way too smooth)

Cheers,
