Thanks for looking.

Ah Fahim. I knew it would not be long before you shared your little bundle of joy and beauty with us. What a wonderfully simple yet eligant and special moment you have captured here. It shows in one frame why we are here in the first place. Thank you so much for letting us share in your obviously joyous time. Newborn innocence is always refreshing.

Thanks for looking.
Fahim,

Of course this picture is wonderful! Even more so since I know a very tiny amount of especially capable force of nature the grandmother understands. Know that is especially poignant; coming down from Everest to hold a tiny infant!

You have used a wide open aperture centering the focus on the tiny girl. That's a good idea. Maybe also take this angle again, including the left the arm so that your infant's head is not central but located according to the Golden Mean or "Rule of Thirds", at the junction of one of the corners of the central rectangle when the frame is divided into thirds horizontally and vertically.

Fahim, thank you. She is lovely, and a lovely moment.

Although the moment does not need any help I will counter Asher's suggestion that you reshoot by simply saying that I might crop away part of the bottom and right of the image, leaving the fold below Reneem's head and cropping to allow a small dark area to the right of your wife's ear.

But most of all, thank you for sharing your joy with us.

James, what a lovely thing to say. I am grateful.

Asher, Mike..my thanks for both your equally valid suggestions. May I take a rain check on this one, as
my brain has been upped by the heart.

Let me try another one...from the heart and no brain..again!

My best wishes to you all.

Your heart, as well as your brain, is full of love and talent Fahim. You could not improve this one if you tried. Love, happiness, contentment, security, all of the things we strive for are present here in this one little package. Very nicely done...again. You must be so proud and justifiably so.

Hi Fahim,

This is simply priceless! I dare say it is the best and the most valuable picture you've posted here, ever. May she grow up to become a very happy and healthy person! I have no doubt that she will.

Cheers,
