... and you are right on both counts.California for one and Death Valley for two.
Yes, but he "cheated" by editing his previous post. If he had posted a new one, I could see the exact time and declare a winner. Now, I'll pass the baton on to you ;-)We have a tie! Asher beat me to the punch - he answered while I typed....
Great detective work Asher, very worthy of you. I'll show some more pictures from the area. It was a flood as a result of a bad storm in the area just in the morning before we've arrived. Some roads had been closed to traffic but the main artery was still open. I never expected to see so much water at one of the hottest and driest places on earth. I was just fantastic.Well, Kathy,
A few seconds and you would have spoiled my fun research, LOL! I didn't know this at all, I had to be a detective. Then I had trouble loading my image and by the time it loaded, I have competition! California joins Galverston, Manhattan and New Orleans in having lots of places below sea level.
May I offer you to go next, Kathy?

OK, then. I have just tossed a coin, tell me if it was heads or tails?Nope!
I posted the answer by itself in a new post but it vanished and by then I posted by new image and after that had an email from Kathy. Then I saw we both had it. She knew it, but I had deduced it beforehand!

As promised, here is another picture showing the road and the environment a bit more. You can see the flooded areas to both sides of the road.Great detective work Asher, very worthy of you. And finally, here is a view from above. As promised, here is another picture showing the road and the environment a bit more. You can see the flooded areas to both sides of the road.
OK, since you've asked for it......As for posting, I have to go through my catalog and find a suitable image and I am off to a very full day today so if someone else can carry on, I will jump in later.
Mais naturellement mon ami. C'est a toi maintenant....La pyramide du Louvre ?
OK, this is way too easy so I won't react right now. Let's see some others chime in pleaseBTW I like the similar symetry of the Pyramide structure and the personnages…
OK
Hint: It is not in a Northern country…

Asher
