Hi Dwayne,

It seems there's a big flame in the background. I think it's only sun shinning on some yellow leaves but the effect is well done. The general cold colours and weird atmosphere (due to digital treatment i think) reinforce this strong impression.

How can you not give us the top of the canopy! This is so punishing not to have it all. It's just like a tad of a goblin's den, I want the canopy too!

Hi Dwayne,

I'll admit to generally struggling a bit with your soft focus treatment in your images - find it easy to appreciate them as art, but harder to appreciate as photography, if that makes sense.

Really like this image though. Definitely a look of flames in the distance, even if it's obviously not, and the whole image has a lovely autumnal feel.

Unlike Asher, I'm quite happy without the top of the canopy - brings a sense of mystery to the image that I think might be lost with the tree tops in view.

Cheers,

Thank you very much for the comments everyone !!

I believe art work should be affordable to all and not just for the weathly and my goal (future)
would be to mass produce my work so everyone could afford to have a nice piece of nature over
there couch. Right now my local signed prints are selling for $70 CDN 24x36 set size. This
is a great size because most big box stores sell poster frames in this size which are
typically in the 70 dollar range which is affordable and makes for a nice large size living
room piece.

Take care,
Dwayne Oakes
