That's a seriously good portrait of a ram, Jan. And the falls are simply beautiful. Is this near where you live? If so, why didn't we see it before?

Thank you, yes the ram's were really funny, I have another couple - really close to one of their faces, they were very interested in the apple that I had, but once the apple was gone they just stood and wouldn't talk to me anymore and this was the resulting shot!

It's funny I'm so focused on Scotland and flowers at the moment that I tend not to photograph the Dales as much as I should, it's a bit of a drive out into the north dales, but near enough for a good day out. Take a look at the Yorkshire gallery on my website if you want, there's more of the area in there. I've decided to do quite a lot more of the area over the winter, I love winter in the Dales - there's too many tourists around in the summer....
