This is a hard image to optimize, I just tried! The sky has lost much of it's character in the over-exposure of the bright center and then processing. Do you have this to be able to process it gently from RAW?

thanks for taking time to edit the image. yup this was shot Raw then applied some filters in there.

Hi Karlo,

Is it possible to just concentrate on getting the clouds rich with a full range of densities and detail? It might be that the use of filters might be adding too much contrast.

hi asher,

what I mean about filter is photo filter in pscs4. Anyway, the filters specially the cpl and nd grad are essential to this shot to cut the light . This was taken at 20" exposure and ISO 50 so imagine with out the filters in there, the sky will be completely washed out.
