Driving back down the A19 from the North East yesterday we stopped at the American Diner with the girls. As the light faded I couldn't resist a bit of old style Americana in the North east of England

This sign is a little lost, perhaps, in the large field of view. I thought it might show better cropped and with the b.g. increased in density. So thanks for allowing me to play!

Cem, yes the food was nice, though not necessarily what my new year's health resolution demanded!

I prefer the square crop, but here is the second framing I did of the sign - sort of overlooked when processing the first. I've also processed this very slightly differently.

In all the intent has been to get some sense of rtansparency colours - probably heading towards a velvia mix!
