Another new muse. This time a keeper........I promise.

I've wanted a Model A Phaeton for 50 years. The cow bell is in case it wanders off somewhere.

Hi, Jim,

Exquisite photo. The cow bell is really over the top, along the with Ron Jon decal.

Ah, the faithful 2D. Ours is only for display.

Best regards,

Doug

This picture got me interested and I wondered how they could sell gear from this cart! So this is an old ford.

I like the way the car seems so isolated in the landscape. Sort of sad and a victory too.

Hi Jim,

I agree, this is a muse which is here to stay. I really didn't know what an A Phaeton was, I thought that it was a trailer/carriage of some kind. Your other pictures and the qualifier "Ford" have provided the answer ;-). I really like the picture, thanks for sharing these gems with us.

Cheers,

MY old Ford. I traded the black roadster and an undisclosed foolish amount of $$$$ for this.

Here is a photograph taken by my grandfather about 1955. That is me in my grandmother's lap. So when I say I've wanted a phaeton for over 50 years, I'm quite serious.

I'll eventually bore you all silly with pics of this car. :~'))

btw, grandad loved Kodachrome, but grandma would only let him have an Argus. Left to him, I'd have inherited an M4 I'm sure. He had impeccable taste.

When I saw this picture, Jim, it did not occur to me that it was not your grandkids in the car!

So what has changed? I just thought hair styles seemed a little conservative!

Asher, my goal is to make the same picture on the same spot with my grandkids, maybe as soon as late summer '10. We shall see.
