Amazing. I have transitioned to Fuji GFX models and a studio with all the heavy lights hanging from rails and being positioned by one finger where needed.

I have regular assistants to make procedures smooth and focus on design and then presentation of my compositions.

We are still here, and value your loyalty in returning.

What are you up to? Had more children, retired, wear an ankle bracelet or what?

No more children for me, two thirty somethings are enough. Rail systems are really nice, I miss having a studio space to work in, but life being what it is...

I took a multi year hiatus from any serious shooting, but not acquisitions when deals too good to pass up came by, I presently don't have access to a darkroom, so film is temporarily out, at the moment equipment is (from small to big):

Sony A7S and A7RII, a lot of older Maxxum lenses with Sony AF adapter, all kinds of vintage glass with adapters,

Nikon D1X, D2X, D3, several IR modified D100 DSLR, obscene amounts of glass collected over the last 40 years,

Hassy 503CX and 553ELX, 40mm, 50mm, 80mm, 120mm, 150mm, 250mm, 350mm C T* glass, Phase One P30 back

RB67 outfit with 50, 65, 90, 127, 150SF, 180, 250, 360 C lenses ,

Sinar F2 (x2), P, P2/X, in 4x5, 5x7, 8x10 and an in-process self built 5x12 back and film holders, Korona 8x10 Field Camera, B&J 8x10 Commercial with 8x10, 5x7, 4x5 backs, and a Century #4 on a semi centennial stand I need to refinish over the winter. Still using a Betterlight Scan Back for landscape and hopefully some tabletop/product work, slowly getting back into it.

Still tons of Broncolor lighting, Lumedyne for portable strobes (and have a bunch of odds and ends I need to find a home for), and Generay LED lights, cabinets full of all the usual grip equipment. Outputting to a Canon ipf8400, still one of the most reliable printers i have ever owned, it just wont die...

(I might add, it sounds like I'm a gear whore, but I've been shooting since 1976 and still have a lot of what I've used through the years, as well as photography being my main hobby for the last nearly 50 years. Oh, and when you leave lenses and cameras in a dark cabinet alone for any time, they seem to breed....LOL)

AR7 a great choice.

"Lumedyne?

I don't know, I have maybe 18-20 heads, at least a dozen packs, tons of batteries, all told, about 3 copier paper boxes full.

Wow!

That’s quite a collection.

Do the batteries work? I switched to Lithium Fe P04

I also use their vehicle battery container, it allows one to have 2 stacks of Lumedyne packs with boosters.

I have mine with fast accelerators and a 3rd place for power packs.

Cables inside are massive

This is what I use for lighting a 20 story building at night!

The people with my Godox TTL strobes!

I’ve slowly been recelling the batteries with lithium batteries as they fail. I have two large batteries that have gel cell and they generally get used the most
