There is a great foundation for passionate oratory from black churches going Bach centuries. This is way more expressive than foundvin the rest of the United States. That expression is also set to cadences and excellent timing as well as song.
So this poet sprouts from a well tended fertile field of emotional and logical discourse that are closely woven in a fabric that’s immediately recognizable, resonating with feelings of the worth of each person before God!
She certainly makes everyone uplifted and full of hope!
