On a side note, am looking for some sort of website system / flash gallery so that I can use to publish the photos online, Ive been looking at some candidates:

Hi Nuno and welcme to OPF! The Aalborg Carnival seems like a cross between "Girls gone Wild", A Brazil Carnival and a Tuscany religious parade from some bygone time. Is this anything to do with Carni or meat as in the Carnival related to Lent?

In any case there are a lot of things to say. It is so slow to wait for the pictures to load. A better way is to have thumbnails and then push the first few pictures and the rest on demand. Waiting and waiting for over 200 pictures to load is a pain in the rear end! Don't do it. Have your work broken down into galleries with 20 pictures or so per block of icons/gallery. Only post the very best. A lot of the pictures are fun and good for you but boring when they come one after the other. However some pictures have that extra saucy look by a girl or great pose by a bunch of guys that you don't want them buried in mediocre images.

Part of art is killing your babies. You have to do it yourself or the whole set of images will be passed over.

Why do you want flash? A simple plain jpg works fine and there's no barrier to your pics appearing on an iPhone or similar device. Flash is not needed for most things.

I'd boil down the gallery to the best 40 images and split it into gallery I and Gallery 2, dump flash so Google can track you and then you will get more traffic.

Keep at it! BTW, where are you located and what do you do?

Hi Asher, thanks for the reply and advice.
Its called Carneval, but i made a mistake calling it carnival i guess.

i'll revise the pics and look for some other type of gallery without flash.

I live in Aalborg, Denmark - and I only take photos for fun.

I'm not sure whether or not Denmark is Catholic or Protestant in the main, but n any case, Carneval is a celebration at the end of Lente, TTBOMK. I like the fun. Denmark with Tivoli gardens is a good place for fun and I'll never forget my experience there!

I've never been to Aalberg. I'll have to look it up. The first thing I'd ant to know is are there any Castles and old buildings to photograph?
