We want to go here..
It has been a very hard journey so far and has taken days. We stopped to acclimatize at each significant ascent.
At night we sleep low. Remember what I said..Climb high, sleep low.
It is hard on the heart, the lungs, the body. Above all it is hard on the spirit. Each meter seems a long long way off.
Take a look. What is under the ice and snow. Look at the sides of the mountains; is there a chance of an
avalanche. Sheer determination pushes me on. The body gave up long time ago.
A little more, says the voice. Take a look at down. Straight. Many many more rocks to navigate. Why?
Because it is there. I am alive. I want to see how far I can go.
There is no success or failure. It is you against yourself. Only you know your success or failure.
There is no one to impress or judge.
