Announcing the Unofficial Canon IPF5000 Wiki

John Hollenberg

New member
I have created the Unofficial Canon IPF5000 Wiki here:

http://www.canonipf5000.wikispaces.com

So far I have put in most of the things I would have liked to know
about the IPF5000 that I had difficulty figuring out from the poor
documentation. I scoured the internet for any useful information and
included it in the Wiki. Since I have only had the printer for one week,
some of the answers in the FAQ could be in error (although I don't think
there is any misinformation :) There are a few other topics I plan to add
in the next few days.

Please spread the word about this resource, and contribute any
knowledge you have. If there is something you would like included
but you don't have the time or inclination to add it to the Wiki, post it
to this thread and I will add it. Especially important is any information you
have about the best media setting for creating custom profiles for
non-Canon papers, and any problems you have encountered that you
found a solution for (Troubleshooting section of FAQ).

Thanks.

John,

This is great! Tony Bonnano uses this printer too. I'd let him know if you haven't already done so. Also Michael Reichman I believe.
