My World: Another journey, another story.

Hi Fahim

just stumbled in here and I'm baffled by the beauty and the thrill of the pictures.
Due to the place I live I'm used to hike in mountains therefor I feel the pics of Jabal Al-Shams in me.
The world is full of wonders, we just have to see it.

The story is short. The time is short. The ascent is steep. Jabal Al-Shams. The mountain of the sun!

No part of these images are cloned. Not a simulation. As it was.

Please do not try this..practice what you are about to see at home only! If you are afraid of heights or are an inexperienced climber. And have balance problems.

Jabal Al-Shams...A sight to behold. Words cannot describe the feeling.

I looked around and said softly. I was sure I would be heard.

' What do you say now, Guardians of the gates of Shangri-La? '.
' Its all in the mind, Traveler, the voice whispered back.

This is an amazing site. All women should see this and be inspired! This to me is very brave. I could do it but my wife would collapse just seeing at me on the edge!

Hi, Fahim,

The thrill of it all. The challenge. To stare danger in the face. Extremely thrilling.

A final look, before the descent.

Always nice to see the adorable, and intrepid, Ayesha.

Not to suggest that this pose is quite as intrepid, here is Carla at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon:

Doug.

Carla is a much braver person than me. Nowadays, heights scare me.

Best.
