niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice :) . your pictures make me want to move back to montana. but, when i think about the economy there ... i'm happy where i'm at.

hey doug, you don't have to worry about just one wolf (to much), they're pretty timid alone. it's when you see a pack you might want to hunker down and stay put for a while ;) .

I think the image is spectacular. The eyes are amazing.
I'm certainly jealous that you have subjects such as these in your own bakyard, so to speak.
The only wolves in my neck of the woods are street thugs with handguns!

Excellent indeed. I would love to get a photo of one of those Wolves but that white stuff in the background called snow makes me shiver!! Being a floridian My blood is to thin for that!! lol

An excellent image and with the intensity of those eyes! You took good advantage of a great opportunity. I keep looking for a wolf close enough to get a shot but they're usually on the other side of the Lamar Valley! Well, I'll be back in the next week or so to try again.
