Eric Diller: Bald Eagle with a bad feather day!

This is the male chilling in an adjacent tree at the end of the day! The Female flew into the nest while I wasn't paying attention, but the lighting sucks on the nest in the evening.

Eric,

The guy looks pretty good to me! The spiky leaves in the b.g. repeats the pattern of the feathers and that's interesting. These birds are indeed marvels of nature. We always see them healthy. Interesting that no one ever seems to find a sick Eagle! Probably that keeps the species so strong.

We, OTOH, guarantee the survival of the weakest!

Eric,

I love this!

I have him saying in a voice of pure gravel ( somewhere between James Earl Jones and Tom Waits) "Look at me...I'm Batman!...No I'm not, ....I'm a Bald Eagle, either way, I'm an Apex predator"....then stares off into the distance.....

Sorry if that's not what you were thinking but it's where my head goes.
