Brother & Sister at Door

I noticed these 2 cute kids sitting outside the door of their house, talking laughing and playing.

1 - First I approached the little girl who was eager to have me take her picture with her dolly. Of course she immediately sat up straight and posed for me - and so I had to direct her a little to get a more natural pose.

2 - After firing off 2 or 3 shots I turned around to the little boy watching behind me and he got really shy and went onto the house. His mother and gramma were right inside the door and told him to go back and sit for the picture - which he did. I again grabbed 2 or 3 shots - the first two sitting up straight from the directions from the parents - - - then he got shy again and I capture this far more preferable image that displays that shyness.

3 - Then I backed off for an overview of the kids sitting around the door. By then they were totally cooperative, because I had shown them both their individual pictures on the back of the camera, which gave them both (and the family inside the house) a good laugh. There was no direction needed this time.

After grabbing the one overview photograph, I said my goodbyes to them and heard them giggling and talking with each other about the experience as I walked away down the street.
