Bygone Days

Very atmospheric and emotional. By coincidance we are mourning the loss of my brother from Covid, 2 days ago.

But how come the colored rose?

I think monochrome is already powerful!

Sorry to hear about your loss Asher. The picture is about symbolism with a monochrome painting in the background. The pink rose placed in front of my wife's grandfather symbolizes gratitude, grace, admiration, joy and her other memories of him.

Best, regards
James

And what looks like a bank note ? What is it doing there ?
Was your wife's grandfather Belgian ? The background is suggestive with those 3 little fellows... ;)

He was of Scottish descent and the bank note is the identity of Canada.

The picture was already so interesting.

Your description and revelations make it have so much depth!
