Very atmospheric and emotional. By coincidance we are mourning the loss of my brother from Covid, 2 days ago.

But how come the colored rose?

I think monochrome is already powerful!

Sorry to hear about your loss Asher. The picture is about symbolism with a monochrome painting in the background. The pink rose placed in front of my wife's grandfather symbolizes gratitude, grace, admiration, joy and her other memories of him.

Was your wife's grandfather Belgian ? The background is suggestive with those 3 little fellows... ;)

Was your wife's grandfather Belgian ? The background is suggestive with those 3 little fellows... ;)

He was of Scottish descent and the bank note is the identity of Canada.
